White Horse Inn lies on the edge of the Somerset Levels on the main road between the popular tourist attractions at Brean and the town of Burnham on Sea (5 miles) and the ever popular attractions at Cheddar with it’s famous Gorge and Cave System (9 miles), Wookey Hole Caves (10 miles) and the beautiful City of Wells (13 miles) with its ancient streets, buildings and market square and the fabulous Cathedral and Bishop's Palace.

 

Glastonbury with it's quirky charm and World famous Tor and Abbey and Street with its shopping outlet centre ‘Clark’s Village’ are just a little further on.

The moors on the Somerset Levels are a mecca for cyclists and walkers with a myriad of safe cycling and walking routes on pretty flat terrain for seasoned riders and novices alike with plenty of wildlife to observe and stunning views.

White Horse Inn makes the ideal staging post or finishing point after a day out on the levels or further afield to relax and unwind and enjoy some proper home cooked food, a well cared for pint or a reviving cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea.
